E3D V6 Nozzles
V6 nozzles are designed for use with the E3D V6 heater block. Modify your HotEnd to be able to print with small nozzle orifices to achieve fine details or larger nozzle orifice sizes for more substantial, stronger prints. 1.75mm Brass V6 nozzles are fully compatible with the Prusa 3D printers.
Please note - V6 nozzles are not compatible with Volcano, SuperVolcano or Cyclops heater blocks.
Choose the right material:
Nozzle X
Nozzle X is the last nozzle your 3D printer will ever need. Made from a hardened tool-steel base, they are then Nickel plated to maintain hardness at elevated temperatures, and have a WS2 coating applied to provide the nozzle with reduced stick properties. Rated to a maximum temperature of 500°C, Nozzle X prints every printable material*, from PLA all the way to Carbon Fibre-filled PEEK without wearing.
Brass
Brass nozzles, featuring E3D’s signature internal geometry, have optimal thermal properties for everyday printing, providing smooth layers for standard non-abrasive applications. Rated to a max temperature of 300°C.
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel nozzles are suitable for food-grade printing, or applications where the lead content of the brass nozzles is unsuitable. Rated to a maximum temperature of 500°C.
Plated Copper
Our unique plated copper nozzles are suitable for high-temperature, non-abrasive applications. The nickel plating provides a reduced-stick surface, ideal for situations where temperatures are too hot for a silicone sock. Rated to a maximum temperature of 500°C.
Hardened Steel
Hardened steel nozzles are good utility nozzles, suitable for abrasive filaments such as wood fills, glitter fills and metal fills. Even glow-in-the-dark filaments will abrade brass so our Hardened Steel nozzles are a great, lower-cost option when you can’t stretch to a Nozzle X. Rated to a maximum temperature of 500°C. Please note this nozzle is not suitable for printing abrasive filaments at temperatures above 350°C.
Experimental Nozzles
Here be dragons! These nozzles conform to our strict manufacturing and engineering guidelines, but might still need more know-how and practice than others in our range. This collection includes high-resolution 0.15mm nozzles for very very tiny printing and also offer undrilled nozzles for those who like to make their own.
